RE: A wildlife walk after dinner

I've never been to Hayling Island, it looks lovely. I like that stretch of south coast, had many a great holiday on the Isle of Wight.

RE: Tinkering with Linux again

I have my main PC for gaming so that's not an issue on the laptop. So far I've managed to get everything working that I've needed - I think there's only Zoom left to go.

RE: Back from yet another break

Thanks for your note. Man V Fat Challenge was spawned out of Man V Fat Football. It was originally setup to get fat blokes playing football whilst being given health advice and playing in a league. COVID

RE: Sunday morning reflection - black and white beach walk

Thanks Steve. It's my time for listening to podcasts. I struggle to listen to them when working as my focus shifts to whatever I'm doing as opposed to actively listening and taking in the content. I find

RE: Another long walk and a tasty supper - finally nailed Basmati rice

It's a Hello Fresh recipe that I now buy the stuff myself for. It's they method for the rice. Have done it a good few times now and it never seems to fail. Youngest and I like a curry take away every few

RE: #kiss | beating the paperwork

Thank you :) It's nice to be slowly catching up with old posters/followers and what they've been up to. Has been a challenging time but a great period of reflection. Not out of the woods quite yet but

RE: 02/05/2022 Beach walk

Thanks for the tag hints. Yes, Trespass always seems to be reasonable and have a forever sale. My boots were marked down from £99.99 to around £45 (can't remember if just above or below). Was the same

RE: #kiss | beating the paperwork

I'm a massive fan of tidy Friday. I've spent my career in an IT setting where some documentation can be vital but never gets completed. I implemented tidy Friday within my team for them to clear the decks

These things are sent to try us and all that 😊. Having the dog is a jolly good excuse and certainly helps. My knee is a bit iffy after the mega knee joy of last year. Kind of limits what I can do at the

RE: Hive Power Up Day: All about the bees

I'm sure we used to have a bug hotel in the garden but damned if I can find it! Last year I started scattering wild flower seeds around the edge of the lawn and around the tree out front in an attempt

RE: Morning Run: Sun and ice

We have a Lidl in the village so I'll have to go take a look. I've not practiced recently as I started to twitch with how messy the living room was with it all set up. The kid it currently folded away

TEACAKES! I've not had a proper teacake in years. Probably a good thing as I think I'd manage to get through an entire packet. Stroopwaffles are a new one on me. I'd hoped to get out for a run this morning

RE: Morning Run: Muddy new year parkrun

I've found another 6 miles up the coast and it says it's nice and flat. Small and fast turnout by the looks of it so will have to get back up to jogging the distance before I give it a go. Don't want to

RE: Morning Run: Muddy new year parkrun

I just looked up our local park run and it's pretty much all on sand. I struggle to walk on the stuff let alone jog/run!

RE: Morning Run: Muddy new year parkrun

I've been doing a little more cycling recently and managed a C25K session the other week. Getting into it slowly as I'm not sure whether there's any damage in my knee from the excitement of monsto knee
