Younger daughter went off to school for a few hours this afternoon so elder daughter and I went out exploring. We ended up just a few miles up the coast in Winterton; I don't think I've been there in the past 30 years.
A trip out is as always a great excuse to take some photos. I headed out with my old Canon EOS30d which is still in fine working order after 14 years of being bashed about. There were a lot of marks on the photographs (actually there still are), so wither the sensor of the lens have got grubby. Annoyingly I think it's the lens so that's something to be investigated another day. I've cleaned them up as best I can.
Thought I'd try to be a little creative so all have had a good level of processing in Lightroom.
I don't really like this fist photo so I've no idea why I'm including it. This is looking south from Winterton and if you look very clearly you can see the wind farm that is located off our local beach in Caister.
The next two are quite different from my usual high contrast, in your face approach to taking photos. I wanted to try to make them feel a little dreamy.
Back to high contrast in your face here. A little sand bank had formed thanks to the being out so we managed to go be pirates for a few moments. I ended up with a few pockets full of shells and we poked a few little jelly fish things.
Also saw some horses galloping about the place and I wanted to try a different crop. There was a cool little horse thing with this log but unfortunately it was on the opposite side of the big scary ones (I bloody hate horses).
