I had a cracking nights sleep last night and I put that down to a decent drop in temperature. I'm one of those who likes a cool room to sleep in, I can sleep when the evenings are warm but I average about 5 hours. Slept for a solid 9 last night and felt much better for it. We had a good sprinkling of rain during the night but it was dry when I got up to walk to dog. It was blowing a string northerly at Bout 45mph which made it feel autumnal.

I heard a lot of chattering in the tree as I loaded Lola into the car and had to go take a look. I found these 4 all snuggled together and dropping a good volume of crop on the wife's car. I must admit, I let out a little chuckle.

We started our walk up on the dunes. Not a great idea as the wind would be blowing into my face on the way back. Great planning on the beach! The view was pretty awesome though.

The view to the south was great and there were very few people about. We saw a chap with his metal detector but he didn't seem to be picking much up. There wasn't as much beach available as usual.

The sky seemed to be changing every second. Another of those days where I was pleased to be on dry land.
