Dear friends and colleagues once again here today I come to share with you the Ford Focus transmission assembly that I showed a few days ago here you can see the disassembly and internal damage that had the transmission.
I had this post pending but as other more timely repairs had come up it had slipped off my list 馃ぃ.
As I told you in the previous publication to uncover the transmission we only got the third gear drum damaged as well as the rear cover where the drum applies.
While 
The joint of the transmission covers seal them with gray silicone, the trick is to let the silicone dry a little before joining the covers, this avoids that if by some circumstance or ignorance we add much silicone this is not going to spill to the internal part of the transmission generating obstruction in some of the parts.
The third speed drum was obtained used but original as well as its discs and piston, it was only a matter of assembling them to install.
This clutch was where in the previous post I got the burned discs so it was a big plus to get this one from a used transmission but they were all original.
When installing this drum it touches to graduate the band since it is there where she exerts its friction, luckily this model of transmission does not carry graduation only adjusts to butt and she with the hydraulic system is adjusted.
After this only remains to verify that the new cover has its rings placed well so as not to split them if they are metallic and if they are Teflon so that they are not bitten, if this happens the transmission is with internal leaks and the clutch does not work due to loss of oil pressure.
To place the cover is the same procedure as above, add a layer of silicone and let dry a little before placing the cover and tighten with screws.
We must be very careful before placing the cover as it has a washer as it is.
I recommend putting a little grease on the washer on the side that sticks to the cover to prevent it from falling off when the cover is placed or that it is out of position and the cover breaks when tightened.
Once the cover is in place, the transmission is ready to be installed again in the car and add the oil recommended by the manufacturer, which in this case is Mercon V.
Another important thing I give you is to turn the torque converter well to fit well in the oil pump and not have difficulties when mounting the transmission, on the other hand if you want to drain the torque converter completely with a drill and a thin wick as 3/16 make a hole in the side facing the engine of the car and let it drain, doing this leaves almost a liter of old oil and does not contaminate the new one.
When we finish draining, we put a welding point covering the hole and that's it.

Queridos amigos y colegas una vez m谩s por aqu铆 hoy vengo a compartirles el ensamblaje de la transmisi贸n del Ford Focus que mostr茅 hace unos d铆as aqu铆 puedes ver el desarmado y los da帽os internos que ten铆a la transmisi贸n.
Est谩 publicaci贸n la ten铆a pendiente pero como se me hab铆an presentado otras reparaciones m谩s puntuales se me hab铆a salido de la lista 馃ぃ.
C贸mo les cont茅 en la publicaci贸n anterior al destapar la transmisi贸n solo conseguimos el tambor de la tercera da帽ado al igual que la tapa trasera donde aplica el tambor.
Mientras
La junta de las tapas de la transmisi贸n las selle con silic贸n gris, el truco est谩 en dejar secar un poco el silic贸n antes de juntar las tapas, esto evita que si por alguna circunstancia o desconocimiento agregamos mucho silic贸n este no se va a derramar a la parte interna de la transmisi贸n generando obstrucci贸n en alguna de las partes.
El tambor de la tercera velocidad se consigui贸 usado pero original al igual que sus discos y el pist贸n solo fue cuesti贸n de ensamblarlos para instalar.
En este embrague era donde en la publicaci贸n anterior consegu铆 los discos quemados as铆 que fue una gran ventaja conseguir este de una transmisi贸n usada pero todos eran originales.
Al instalar este tambor toca graduar la banda ya que es ah铆 donde ella ejerce su fricci贸n, por suerte este modelo de transmisi贸n no lleva graduaci贸n solo se ajusta a tope y ella con el sistema hidr谩ulico se ajusta.
Luego de esto solo queda verificar que la tapa nueva tenga sus anillos colocados bien para no partirlos en el caso de que sean met谩licos y si son de tefl贸n para que no queden mordidos, si esto sucede la transmisi贸n queda con fugas internas y el embrague no trabaja por perdida de presi贸n de aceite.
Para colocar la tapa es el mismo procedimiento que arriba mencion茅, agregamos una capa de silic贸n y dejamos secar un poco antes de colocar la tapa y apretar con sus tornillos.
Debemos tener mucho cuidado antes de colocar la tapa ya que lleva una arandela c贸mo est谩.
Les recomiendo colocar un poquito de grasa a la arandela del lado que pega de la tapa esto evita que se caiga al colocar la tapa o que quede fuera de posici贸n y se nos parta la tapa al apretar.
Ya al colocar la tapa queda la transmisi贸n lista solo de instalar de nuevo en el auto y agregar el aceite que recomienda el fabricante que en este caso es el Mercon V.
Otro dato importante que les doy es girar bien el convertidor de torque para que calce bien en la bomba de aceite y no tener dificultades a la hora de montar la transmisi贸n, por otra parte si quieres drenar el convertidor de torque por completo con un taladro y una mecha delgada como de 3/16 hacemos un agujero en el lado que da cara al motor del auto y dejamos escurrir, haciendo esto sale casi un litro de aceite viejo y no contamina el nuevo.
Al terminar de drenar se le coloca un punto de soldadura tapando el agujero y listo.
