He tomado pausas, y ustedes preguntarán ¿De qué?
The breaks are fine, nothing happens when we stop. Sometimes we're walking around, we get tired and look for a place to sit down for a drink. No one ever says anything when you take a break if you exercise. But why is there always someone watching you from afar (or up close) watching what you do and how often you do it? There is always someone who doesn't like what you do and how you do it. Before this distressed me a lot, so much was the anguish that the anxiety I felt was leading me to spend each of my days badly, without sleep, without rest, with a lot of acne, dark circles under my eyes more marked than ever. All this was happening to me because I let it happen to me, I wanted to please everyone around me and I didn't please the person who should care the most: myself.
It's happening less and less, it's slipping more and more, and changing my mind, pausing, talking to people I would never have tried to talk to because of some prejudice (usually unfounded by someone else), all that has been changing. Because I have understood that "Only fools don't change their minds ". And it is a matter of evolution and adaptability, Darwin says it in other words in the Theory of Species, we must adapt to the environment in order to survive. It is not the strongest that adapts, it is the one that perseveres the most. But I think Darwin's finches would not have adapted if they had not taken a step back to see where they were failing and how they would manage to eat, or fly, or survive.
It's a matter of adaptation, and on the social side, which is where I'm going at the moment, it's a matter of not vociferating everything you do. I have taken breaks, and you may ask, from what? Pauses from me, from what I do, what I see, and how I feel. From trying to adapt and create habits that benefit me, but one day I don't make it, I just don't do them. I don't complete the list for the day, and in the first instant what I do is recriminate myself that I didn't do them. Why? Easily, I can continue another day and be happy, inserting them little by little. Give myself a chance to even think about readapting some of them, to take them off the list because they don't need to be there.
I am in a pause of myself, yesterday I wanted to ruin everything, to ruin the progress, not to continue. But I just stopped, and today I'm back on track. They are just personal goals that are not going to harm anyone, not even myself. But to avoid external judgments, I prefer not to tell anyone else, because it hurts less when I don't achieve something.
Today I faithfully believe that I am right, that I am not acting wrong. That if I don't want to do something and if it doesn't affect anyone, not even myself, it shouldn't matter if I do it or not. Does it impact you what I do or don't do?
I'll keep doing my thing, maybe for now it's more fun to spend hours lost in a video game, and that tomorrow I'm going to regret it. But let the Natalia of the future take care of that 😂. I love you all ❤️.
