En total ser铆an 3 semanas.

Y bueno, no estaba destinada a quedarme en esa m谩gica ciudad.

The day came to leave Argentina. As I was choosing the photos to share with you, I could see in retrospect that the happiness on my face was something that couldn鈥檛 be faked鈥攊t was completely genuine, and there was a reason for that.

If you didn鈥檛 know, I traveled to Buenos Aires thanks to a scholarship I received to participate in a Hackathon during Devconnect, a Web3 convention that takes place every two years. I spent all of 2025 manifesting and fighting for this trip. Then, just two weeks before it happened, after a month and a half participating in an incredible bootcamp led by a women鈥檚 community called Buen D铆a Builders, I finally made it.

My original plan was to arrive a few days before check-in to enjoy the side events and then stay for two weeks afterward with my best friend, gabiotabalbas@gabiotabalbas, to experience the city properly. In total, it would be three weeks. Or at least, that was the plan...

On November 23, 2025, after several months of a strong U.S. fleet presence in Caribbean waters, the closure of Venezuelan airspace was announced. Amid uncertainty, anxiety, and a week of waiting, I received the dreaded email. My return flight to Venezuela, scheduled for December 8, had been canceled. Fortunately, after contacting GOL Airlines, I was refunded the full cost of my return ticket.

After thinking about it for a long time, and exhausted by the situation that always seems to surround my country, I started doing the math on what it would cost to go back. Realizing I couldn鈥檛 even afford to return through the border, I decided to stay in Argentina. I was doing okay, staying at my friend鈥檚 house, helping however I could, and looking for a job. It wasn鈥檛 easy. But, as it turned out, I wasn鈥檛 destined to remain in that magical city. With my few belongings packed into a suitcase, I decided to begin a new path.

On a flight filled with anxiety, followed by an eight-hour layover at S茫o Paulo Airport and two days of travel, I boarded a second plane where they served delicious gluten-free meals and even gave me a blanket and pillow. Finally, I arrived at my destination. Tired, disoriented, but incredibly happy.

Have you guessed where I ended up?
