So I bought some STEEM Dollars a several weeks ago. The price was higher than it is now and STEEM were much lower then. Fast forward to present times STEEM are higher or growing at a much higher rate than STEEM Dollars. Remember this as you read.
This is definitely not my area of expertise. Give me a Scanning Electron Microscope, some calipers, metals or plastics to cut, manual or CNC machines, blueprints, even CAD programs and I'm as comfortable as a fish in water. The thing with technology is it can be as clear as light or as ambiguous as pure darkness. Over the following weeks after my purchase were more impactful as I decided to join the Steemit community where I noticed a few things. Adaptation is difficult to pin point. It's also hard to find, in the dynamic cryptocurrency stratosphere heavy-handed in technical jargon, information simplified into unit cells.
My Aunt Regina
I remember when I was a freshman in college, hungry for knowledge living with my uncle and his wife. They had a modest home with a nice basement that I rented with a buddy of mine. On Monday was her off day. It would so happen to coincide with my free afternoon during the week. We would sit for a few hours and she would ask me about the things that I had learned in school. Boy lemme tell you, if you've ever tried to explain how light is both a wave and a particle to someone who has never been past high school then you cannot comprehend know how hard it is to teach.
The key, I found, was to break the scientific terminology into simple, easy to understand chunks of information. Literature supports this argument, and so does common sense. Seems to me that everyone is busy teaching others what they truly don't understand themselves. If anyone can explain to my aunt Regina how my first paragraph works, a response after this reading concludes, is on a very rewarding path of passing kindness and wisdom along, knowing they taught not only my aunt, but countless of others who stumble on this post.
Learning Abilities

Yes the potential for riches and fortunes are present, yes the ground is thirsty for crypto rain, yes the masses are gobbling up forecasts and predictions. It should still not be the ONLY motivation. This here is ground breaking work, the holy grail of speculators, prospectors, perpetrators, and investigators. Adapt or die. Its that simple. If an organism does not adapt to it's ever-changing environment it will die.
Attrition will not be the sole contributor. A lack of nutrition will. Hopefully neither will prevail. Growth, whether upwards towards the heavens, or deeper down towards earth's core - is still growth.
