Looking for a new chair, I have been looking all over the internet for a good one. I saw alot of mixed reviews for gaming chairs and could not settle on any I liked. But there was a chair that caught my eye, though it was about 4x the price than most of the chairs I was looking at. But the expensive chair in question is one I have sat in before. And it was quite comfortable, one of the offices I worked in had these chairs. I had no idea they cost so much, but it all make sense now why they are so expensive. I could sit in the chair for hours without much strain. This chair is called the Aeron, made by HermanMiller.
I ordered the chair and within a few days it arrived, and I must say this is probably the biggest box I have ever received. It was completely assembled and ready to go. Just had to remove the wrapping.
After a few adjustments to the arms and the height it was ready to go. This chair is a newer model than the one I had at the office so its even more of an update compared to the nice chairs I sat in at my old workplace.
The fabric is one of its biggest selling points, as most leather chairs I have owned start flaking off a few years into ownership. I doubt this material is going to do that.
Brought it into my office and took it for a test drive, feels pretty good. I went with the size B, though I think I am almost too big for it. But.. I need to shed some pounds so maybe once I do I will fit perfectly in it. The size C is one I sat in at my old workplace once, it was for an obese tall guy and was too big of a chair for me. So I think the size B will work once I slim down a little bit.

Oh how you have not aged well at all. That leather would stick to my back and flake off all around the house.

And my new chair, all shiny and stuff. I hope it lasts alot longer than my Serta. I am already enjoying the benefits of it, as the mesh seating seems to comform to me better than the leather padding in normal chairs where its just foam. And not needing to worry about the fake leather unlike gaming chairs is a benefit. So hopefully I made the right choice in this chair instead of some gaming chair with mixed reviews. Almost everyone that buys this chair likes it, so its probably worth the money. And with all the hours I spend sitting doing blogging, gaming, office work and other stuff I think a quality product to sit in is important.
