S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Gameplay 02-25

Making my way into the great swamp it was pretty quiet at first. But as we reached the center of the map the fire fights picked up. Maybe it was bad positioning on my side but I lost 3/4 of my squad taking out enemies in one area. And eventually I had to flee as I was unable to engage so many enemies from unknown directions. I tried for awhile reloading as I died or got critically wounded. But eventually all the bullets were being directed at me instead of my squad. So it was time to retreat, and I think I lost all of my squad members. This area is a little too hot at the moment, or maybe I need to find a better approach for that base. I guess the HQ really is defended more heavily in this game. Its been pretty easy with Monolith so far, but maybe the head quarters of the military is going to give me more of a fight than expected. Though once I conquer them there is pretty much nothing in our way to taking over the whole zone. One faction, Mono-lith.

So it would seem it is correct, playing as monolith really steamrolls over the other factions. I just have to supervise but for the most part I can let them go about taking over all the regions and they seem to have the firepower and armor to do it on their own. In the past playing as other factions I found myself having to defend constantly against Monolith. So I guess the saying goes, if you cant beat them join them. I wonder what will happen when I take over the military HQ, if that will change how the factions show up in the map. As of right now is says military HQ is in the Great Swamps.
