Sueño, sueñito ¿Qué esperas de mí?
Me llevas al mar de las pesadillas
Y me infundes el miedo a no dormir...
Dream, little dream, what do you expect from me?
You take me to the sea of nightmares
And you instill in me the fear of not sleeping...

No parecía haberla.
That night he was restless; for some reason he didn't want to go to sleep. In the room there was a large window that was aligned with the bed and, in turn, showed the brightness of the stars and the moon. I was then, without a doubt, towards the cardinal east. The room was on the roof; it was not my house but a residence that I occupied while I finished my studies. The truth is that that precise night I went to bed uneasy, and as I had anticipated, sleep did not come instantly. When I closed my eyes I needed a very white light, and with it came the chills. I opened my eyelids and kept them facing the window, sweating, feeling that something was watching me, but my eyes only saw the moonless sky and a couple of dying stars. I sighed, I had no choice but to wait for the awake sun.
I don't know at what moment the dream dominated my body, but I began to notice that I was in some kind of bus and there were many people with suitcases; again that white light appeared, and there was nothing that was reflected more than the silhouettes of men and women who were about to go on a journey. I was aware that I was dreaming, since I was a child I have the peculiarity of becoming aware while dreaming. As I was saying: I was in a big bus, without landscapes, just that white reflection that gave me chills. Soon the wheels were turned, in which direction? There didn't seem to be. Then the passengers went very still and there was an agonizing silence.
Me decía a mi mismo: ¡Debo despertar!
The bus made stops from time to time; people came down and disappeared without saying goodbye. Seated they were two by two, but they did not look at each other. In my seat I was the only one who did not have a partner. He said to myself: I must wake up! And then I would invoke the strength of God to help me out of this strange and for some reason gloomy dream. He couldn't move me, nor speak, but he did scream from the bottom of my thoughts. Fear? No, it filled me with strength to somehow wake up. That white light was what I didn't like; It's weird because it's usually the dark that scares me. Suddenly, without realizing it, the bus was empty, and then the worst happened.
I felt how the metal parts came off while the bus was spinning in circles on its own axis, and then something dragged me face up with an enormous force. Between the white light, looking helplessly, I saw them. There were three of them and they spoke in a strange language, I would dare to say that it had never been heard before on planet earth. They had misshapen faces and bulging fingers, but no eyes. Apparently they were talking about me and they were surprised, while from my thoughts I cursed them in the name of God, whom I generally call Yahweh. I faced them with a strength even greater than the chills that drilled through my bones! I needed to wake up, but the beings were inspecting me, although without being able to touch me; They were giants, and I noticed that even though I only saw their deformed faces.
Aunque no me movía mis labios podía oír a voz agitada.
Apparently those creatures were arguing among themselves; something in me made them uneasy. As I followed them cursing, stretched out in the white light, fighting without knowing if they were listening. I then begged for help, asking God to get rid of those lumpy and misshapen things. He felt so real and tangible, I knew I was trapped! Although I didn't move my lips I could hear the agitated voice. At no time did I stop mentally facing the monsters that were debating looking at me, and I think that was what ended up driving them away.
I only know that the white light became more intense and suddenly I woke up, contemplating the night that was still visible in the window; It was three in the morning. Thinking about what I had experienced through that dream, I stayed awake until dawn, looking for some logic to what I had seen. Who were those creatures? Were they real? Or a product of my subconscious? I heard once that dreams are astral portals, and I have recently verified that.
And although this nightmare happened to me a long time ago, I now know that what I saw could be real. We converge on a series of physical and non-physical planes, and sometimes we enter them without knowing it. I am not a follower of these beliefs, but I speak from my own experience. That dream I told you about was one of the many that I have had to experience; Of course, I always fight with those bugs and my strength in the Faith of God ends up driving them away. But believe it or not, the spiritual world exists.
¿Has tenido experiencias similares?
It's curious that in every nightmare I have that white light appears... when I see it, the chills automatically win me over. It is the first time that I dare to speak about these things, but sometimes it is good to share experiences. This dream I told you about reminded me a lot of alien abduction, and yes, I know it sounds crazy, although I have read that part of this term relates to sleep paralysis. Either way it was terrifying.
Have you had similar experiences?
No one escapes from a nightmare... sometimes we are unconscious in them and other times we are aware that we are facing an evil force. Although I am one of those who believes that Good always ends up triumphing over evil.
