Este mes se celebra el Orgullo Gay y la comunidad de Makeup Power nos invita a hacer un maquillaje alusivo a este evento, pero no cualquier maquillaje, sino uno que represente en sus colores o técnicas el mensaje que queremos transmitir para esta fecha.
Escogí los colores del PRIDE, pero decidí que los utilizaría con aplicaciones de piedrería en mis párpados, junto con escarcha plateada en mis labios, para representar la autenticidad y el brillo de cada una de las personas que hacen parte de la comunidad LGBTQ+. Ellos deciden día a día ser sinceros consigo mismos, mostrarse al mundo tal cual como son, destacar por lo que son y no aparentar, lo cual es realmente admirable.
Quería que este maquillaje en particular se sintiera fuerte y lleno de poder, porque siento que eso es lo que representa este movimiento: resistencia, energía, fortaleza.
Este es un gran momento para promover la importancia de la aceptación y del respeto. También es una oportunidad para recordar a las personas que a lo largo de la historia han sido silenciadas, solo por el hecho de amar...

This month is Gay Pride and the Makeup Power community invites us to make a makeup allusive to this event, but not just any makeup, but one that represents in its colors or techniques the message we want to convey for this date.
I chose the colors of PRIDE, but I decided to use them with rhinestones on my eyelids, along with silver frost on my lips, to represent the authenticity and brightness of each of the people who are part of the LGBTQ+ community. They choose day in and day out to be true to themselves, to show themselves to the world as they are, to stand out for who they are and not to appear, which is truly admirable.
I wanted this particular makeup to feel strong and empowered, because I feel that's what this movement represents: resilience, energy, strength.
This is a great time to promote the importance of acceptance and respect. It's also an opportunity to remember the people throughout history who have been silenced, just for the fact that they love....
