The mural in question said, in large letters, at the top “What do you feel?”. Below it were grouped dozens of colorful post its with phrases, single words, anonymous drawings. “What do you feel?” is a very broad open-ended question. People could answer by mentioning physical sensations, emotions, feelings, even existential questions, humor or even what you might consider a reason for consulting a psychotherapy session? Well indeed, that's what the visitors to the fair did, who anonymously dumped there from the most superficial issues like “my feet hurt” to deeper questions pointing to discomfort like “I hate anxiety that takes away my joy” (If you see, that one sentence collects 3 emotional experiences).

First of all, it is really interesting to me how this is an era where men and women have more and more spaces to say how they feel (there are still prejudices, but more and more people are encouraged to talk about their problems, emotional states, illusions). Secondly, this exercise with cathartic effect can help people connect with their emotions, which I understand is the idea of the book, and that they can identify themselves through the expressions of other people. You get to feel better knowing that you are not the only one who feels that way. Reading some of the post it I see that the question “How do you feel?” could have been emotionally very mobilizing, so, perhaps it would have been a good idea to have a person trained in Psychological First Aid. I don't know if they had someone there in case of any eventuality and I couldn't really ask more about this initiative as the place was very crowded, but it is important to have immediate attention for a possible emotional crisis.

Some people connected misfortunes with humor and some very creative and funny post it posts emerged. I share with you some of them.
