Going for a walk without direction is something I love to do from time to time, the idea is to go through streets that I don't frequent very often or where I have never been. I usually do it in the mornings, I put on comfortable clothes and shoes, my sunglasses and I immediately feel like an explorer 馃槑.
Salir a caminar sin rumbo es algo que me encanta hacer de vez en cuando, la idea es ir por calles que frecuento poco o por las que nunca he transitado. Generalmente lo hago en las ma帽anas, me pongo ropa y zapatos c贸modos, mis lentes de sol y enseguida me siento como una exploradora 馃槑.
For me this activity is an excellent detonator of ideas, I couldn't think of anything to continue practicing street photography, but step by step the themes came to my head, the first of them: "corners". So in this post I share with you a series of black and white photos with many corners that caught my attention.
Para m铆 esta actividad es un excelente detonador de ideas, no se me ocurr铆a nada para seguir practicando la fotograf铆a callejera, pero paso a paso los temas fueron llegando a mi cabeza, el primero de ellos: "esquinas". As铆 que en esta publicaci贸n comparto con ustedes una serie de fotos en blanco y negro con muchas esquinas que me llamaron la atenci贸n.
Most of them have buildings of colonial architecture, some look very old, others are very well restored and I even got a corner with pure bush, with nothing.
La mayor铆a de ellas tienen edificaciones de arquitectura colonial, algunas se ven muy viejas, otras est谩n muy bien restauradas y hasta me consegu铆 una esquina con puro monte, sin nada.
I also found a more contemporary style, in the two images below you can see a different corner because it is flat and another one that on one of its walls has a mural or graffiti that makes it stand out.

In almost all the shots I tried to place my subject in the center and play a little with the lines formed by the wires passing over these constructions.
En casi todas las tomas trat茅 de colocar mi tema en el centro y jugar un poco con las l铆neas que forman los cables que pasan por encima de estas construcciones.
It was fun to get to the end of a few blocks to see if the corner looked interesting for me to photograph.
Fue muy divertido llegar al final de unas cuantas cuadras para ver si la esquina me parec铆a interesante para fotografiar.
The intersections of two streets sometimes seem to take you to a completely different place than you imagined. Suddenly everything looks very neglected, or very arranged, and when you get to the corner the scenery changes and it's the opposite of what you expected.
Las intersecciones de dos calles a veces parecen llevarte a un lugar completamente diferente al que imaginabas. De repente todo se ve muy abandonado, o muy arreglado, y cuando llegas a la esquina el escenario cambia y es todo lo contrario a lo que esperabas.
But that is precisely what excites me about these spontaneous walks, without a fixed route, the surprises!
