My eldest granddaughter, Calista, visited me last week.
She is an active, clever, responsible and a beautiful teenager, and she works hard at school. I'm very proud of her.
For Christmas, she wanted new curtains as she's redecorating her room in blue. "I'm too old for toys, Grams", the told me. Of course, I agree, so off to the shops I went in search of the perfect curtains. Her dad will have to repaint her room, whether he feels like it or not.
I can only pray that Life will treat her kindly, and that her faith in God will lead her on the right path. And that, if she makes mistakes, she will learn from it and carry on. In other words, that she will keep on living a full and happy life.
Be blessed.
