Hello to all members of this community and fashion lovers! On October 3rd and 4th, the Eje del Buen Vivir market took place, and since this month is the spooky and Halloween season, I thought I'd wear a couple of outfits inspired by this theme.

For the first day, I wore a black dress, and for the second, I wore a half-and-half dress: black and white. That dress is part of a collection I got at a garage sale years ago. It turns out it was made by a fashion design student, so I always like to wonder what that seamstress is up to now, and I try to wear what she made during her student days with pride. Before I started wearing it, I had to adjust it a bit to fit me, as it was quite wide, so I ended up giving it a flared shape that looks much better than it did before. Despite being a simple dress, I feel it really stands out on its own.

As for the wig, I dared to wear a long orange one. I hadn't worn one before, so it was perfect. I styled my hair in two pigtails for comfort, and it was the best decision, because I thought I looked like a pumpkin, haha, or at least that's what it made me think 😅 For the accessories, I used the same hair clips and changed the tights for green ones. I hope that next year I'll have some Halloween accessories. Now, it's time to get ready for Christmas 🎄

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de la moda! Los días 3 y 4 de octubre tuvo lugar el mercadillo del Eje del buen vivir y dado que en este mes se celebra la temporada spooky y de Halloween, pensé en llevar un par de outfits inspirados en esta temática.

Para el primer día llevé un vestido negro y para el segundo, utilicé uno que es mitad y mitad: Negro y blanco. Ese vestido es parte de unas piezas que conseguí en una venta de garaje hace años. Resulta que fue realizado por una estudiante de diseño de modas, así que siempre me gusta pensar en qué sería de esa modista en el presente y procuro llevar lo que elaboró en su tiempo de estudiante, con orgullo. Antes de comenzar a usarlo, tuve que ajustarlo un poco a mi medida, ya que me quedaba bastante ancho, por lo que acabé dándole una forma acampanada que se ve mucho mejor a cómo se veía antes. A pesar de ser un vestido sencillo, siento que resalta bastante por sí solo.

En cuanto a la peluca, me atreví a usar una larga de color naranja. No la había usado antes, así que era perfecto. Me peiné con dos coletas para mayor comodidad y fue lo mejor, porque tuve la idea de que lucía como una calabaza jaja o al menos es lo que me hizo pensar 😅 Para los accesorios, usé los mismos ganchos para el cabello y cambié las medias por unas verdes. Espero que para el año que viene, logre tener accesorios para Halloween. Ahora, toca ponerse las pilas con Navidad 🎄
