WARRIOR

Hello Alien Art community, today I represent the thought of self-deprecation, where one feels like an empty egg, with little to offer except superficial pleasures. However, sometimes we find people who inspire us and bring out the best in us. These people are like daisies, illuminating even the shadows of the warrior. No one can match their beauty. Let's continue with the explanation of the process.

Hola comunidad de Alien Art, hoy represento el pensamiento de la autodesvalorización, donde uno se siente como un huevo vacío, con poco que ofrecer salvo placeres superficiales. Sin embargo, a veces encontramos personas que nos inspiran y sacan lo mejor de nosotros. Estas personas son como margaritas, iluminando incluso las sombras del guerrero. Nadie puede igualar su belleza. Continuemos con la explicación del proceso.

PROCESS

For the process, I chose to start by selecting a warrior and then placing them onto the background. Then, with some layer adjustments, I used the channel mixer and levels filter to darken the image, conveying a sense of darkness within oneself. Afterwards, to represent how the daisies would bring interpretation, I played with lights and levels, using the pencil tool to refine the shadows, which logically would darken them slightly.

Para el proceso, opté por seleccionar a un guerrero y luego colocarlo sobre el fondo. Después, con algunos ajustes de capas, utilicé el filtro de canales y niveles para oscurecer la imagen y transmitir un poco el mensaje de la oscuridad en uno mismo. Luego, para representar cómo las margaritas tomarían interpretación, jugué con las luces y niveles, usando el lápiz para delinear las sombras, las cuales lógicamente deberían oscurecerse un poco.

Moving on to the selection of daisies, once generated with a layer mask, I took my time to place them above and behind the warrior's armor, respecting the limitations imposed by the lighting. In the right captures, we can observe that I used levels to darken the image, and the layer mask allows erasing the sides where we don't want that exposure or shadows.

Pasando a la selección de margaritas, una vez generadas con una máscara de capa, me tomé el tiempo para ubicarlas encima y detrás de la armadura del guerrero, respetando las limitaciones impuestas por la iluminación. En las capturas a la derecha, podemos observar que utilicé niveles para oscurecer la imagen, y la máscara de capa permite borrar los lados donde no queremos esa exposición o sombras.

I placed angel wings and when cutting them, I had to achieve the same lights and shadows as the daisies and the warrior. For this, I used layers in the same way and with the tablet pen, I refined those techniques using the lasso tool to pass through each figure, giving a sense of movement to the wings and to the edges of the warrior.

To finish, I positioned your title with a motion effect. If left without any effect, it would appear flat, so I accompanied it with a description below in a generic cover style. I used textures of noise sparingly since the resolution is 2048x2038, and I preferred not to diminish its definition. Finally, I placed a gradient map with preselected colors, concluding this cover. Coloqué alas de ángel y al recortarlas, tenía que lograr las mismas luces y sombras que tenían las margaritas y el guerrero. Para ello, utilicé capas de la misma manera y con el lápiz de la tableta, perfeccioné esas técnicas usando la herramienta de lazo para pasar por cada figura, dándole un sentido de movimiento a las alas y a los bordes del guerrero.

Para finalizar, posicioné tu título con un efecto de movimiento. Si se dejara sin ningún efecto, aparecería plano, así que lo acompañé con una descripción debajo en un estilo de portada genérico. Utilicé texturas de ruido con moderación ya que la resolución es 2048x2038, y preferí no disminuir su definición. Finalmente, coloqué un mapa de degradado con colores preseleccionados, concluyendo esta portada. Te invito a comentar qué te parece este diseño. Nos vemos en el próximo post.
