Pinnacle mountain is a state park here in Little Rock. I always enjoy this area. There is lots of walking trails, mountain bike trails and fishing spots.
I was out here the other day because I was supposed to meetup with a friend to climb the mountain. He ended up canceling so I decided to go out and take photos. As far as climbing the mountain there are a few trails to choose from. From easy to hard. My grandmother once climbed the easy trail with me when she was 72 years old.
It had just finished raining and the sky changed from blah to pretty very quickly. The park area actually covers a large area surrounding the mountain. There are walking trails that lead to scenic views and trails that lead down to the Arkansas river.
I guess the rain scared a lot of people away this weekend usually on the weekends during this time of the year it can be hard to find parking because so many people come out.
