Today was photo day at daycare work. My first ever photo day there and Mummy was all excited. She dressed my up all pretty and did my hair (what there is of it) so it looked nice and then pulled me in the sled all the way. I have to admit, I was a bit excited about the paparazzi photos because up until now, it has been mostly Daddy taking them.
When we arrived...
Parents, who so badly wanted to see their children in photos, brought their kids to school even though they were throwing up all over the place. Three of them!! Some people. I felt sorry for my friend because we were playing and then suddenly, she threw up all over the place. Another one had to go home halfway through the day.
Sure, everyone loves a photo but come on people.
Some parents are cruel and unusual in the way they raise their kids. I am pretty like that I only have unusual parents. I mean, everyone has a camera these days it isn't like daycare is the only place to get a picture but, they probably want the perfect set all through their precious ones life as if that is the thing that is important.
Anyway, so Mummy is away the next two days and has to present her interim thesis work and can't be sick. Daddy has work and some important training tomorrow that he can't miss and I am meant to be going to Mummi and Pappa's place to babysit them. But if I start throwing up, I am not going to be able to take care of my grandparents and Daddy will have to stay home with me meaning, he is going to miss the training that took four weeks to schedule and needs to be completed very soon.
What's the bet?
Mummy got Daddy to pick her up some 'just in case' medication so if she gets ill, she might still be able to struggle through her presentation and Daddy just told her to take some plastic bags also, just in case.
What's the bet?
But, I did get some photos taken at daycare and it was fun to strike a pose so I am looking forward to seeing how they turn out. When Daddy came home from work he asked me what face I made for the camera and I ran to him making it.
I hit the wall a bit because my eyes were closed....
