See how happy I look? I am faking it. The air conditioning in the car still isn't fixed and when I got in I sad, "ooh, quite warm." I was underestimating a lot. But, we were on our way to the city for ice cream. Well, not me as I can't have ice cream but Mummy and Daddy ate one each in front of me so I guess it is almost the same thing.
The trip to the Big Smoke started off well enough but, I seem to have had a bit of a reaction to one of the new foods. Either Cucumber or Almond Milk, I had the the cucumber yesterday and 25 ml of almond milk today. It is also possible that they are both reacting. I am not feeling as smiley as when this photo was taken and I have a feeling it is going to be a long night. Do you know what that means? Daddy might be up writing tomes of text so, watch out.
We haven't trialled any new foods for a while because after the episode with the seizures as we didn't want to risk it for a bit but, next week I start Daycare and it is going to be a challenge getting fed there. I am happy trying new foods as they all taste so good and different but the after effects are the issue. As they say, 'a Moment on the lips and then crying and screaming for the next 24 hours'
It was a shame this evening though as it would have been a nice family day out. Mummy and Daddy took me to a cafe for dinner and they took a coffee and an iced tea but, neither got to finish them because I started to feel very bad. Let's just say that I am not good 'coffee company' when I have a food allergy reaction. I felt a bit bad for them as we haven't been able to do these trips too often together.
Well, tomorrow is another opportunity to be together for a few hours but, perhaps we will just stay at the beach instead of suffering the sweatbox car trip into the city. Though this depends on how the night goes too I suspect. I will try to get to bed now and see if crossing fingers and toes will get me through the night. I am not hopeful.
