It's strange to me how since the beginning of July, in this delicious, sweet and icy community #icecreamcreations, In the middle of summer, as #summervibes are all around us, no one has advertised with their story about ice creams?
I don't make them, so I'm not an ice cream creator, but I'm a member of the Hive community who is recognized as a connoisseur, an "eater" of ice cream, so I could share with you an impression of tasting two good ice creams.
I was in Timisoara a few days ago (now I remembered that I could share some impressions and interesting stories about that tour, just to let it cool down a bit, so that my overheated brain remembers it 😀), when I looked for a galateria with good reviews in the city center.
While I was reading the google map, I passed by the main pedestrian area and a queue in front of a shop window caught my attention.
Prego Gelato.
I didn't need Google reviews anymore. I knew that this long line was not without reason (either the price of the ice cream is low or the quality of the ice cream is good).
I got in line.
The price was not cheap, and I was glad about that.
I knew I would taste quality ice cream.
I chose the Hazelnut and Strawberry flavor and I have to admit, apart from looking pretty in this cone, the taste is great.

And is it better than the ice cream at the Gram gelateria in Belgrade, where I have been visiting often in recent years?
Gram was opened in Belgrade in two locations, one large in the closed part of the large Galerija mall center and the other in a small street shop in the center of the city, on Terazije.
But the place on Terazije is closed, so it is possible to enjoy Gram ice cream only in TC Galerija.
We walked with friends who had never had the chance to try Gram ice cream (the only reason is that they don't like to visit big shopping centers, so they couldn't even see this galateria anywhere) and when they chose the flavors they wanted to try, they immediately asked the waiter if they do delivery - they liked the ice cream a lot.
As always, I chose Poppy seed ice cream, with the addition of some refreshing fruit flavor, this time it was Sobre Strawberry while my friends chose slightly fuller flavors, Pistachio, Stracatella, and one of them followed my example and chose Raspberry.
I've been coming to Gram for ice cream for years, and that's probably proof that I really like their ice cream, and if I were to rate it compared to Prego from Timisoara, I'd give it one more point.
The only thing on which Prego could get a point more and equalize with Gram, would be if they opened their gelato shop somewhere near me, so that I don't have to wait for another trip to Themisvara to hold this curious cone in my hand again.
Until then, my vote goes to Gram!
