Skirting the subject

Today I got a package all the way from Uncle @galenkp in Australia and in it were some very cool surprises. I will unveil them in time but, this skirt was one of the items of clothing. Look how cute it is! It fits perfectly and I will be able to hit the town in style as the air is still warm and when it cools, a pair of leggings underneath and I am good to go.

Uncle @galenkp posted another surprise today, I have a new cousin! Not only that but his birthday is only a few days after mine so one day, we will be able to have a joint party somewhere. At the moment the location is a toss up between Paris, New York or Tokyo but that will depend on whether the parents are going to cover the costs.

Perhaps Steem could have Cryptobabies where people who live in their parent's basement can still experience parenting. "My baby is going to the moon!"

Maybe not. But, .... maybe....

Anyway, I am super excited and I have seen some pictures of his little squashed face and he is so cute. Do you know where babies come from? No? I will ask Mummy tomorrow and let you know what she says.

It is kind of a big deal to have babies in our family as there really aren't many of us on Daddy's side which is strange considering he has a pretty big family himself. Like Uncle said, this is the first boy born into our family since Daddy, 39 years ago. That is a pretty long time but I guess it takes quite a lot of effort to improve on something that is already near perfect.

It isn't all good news today though as this evening I had a few tiny little seizure type things and now Mummy and Daddy are worried about me. I have been put on watch and they will take it in turns keeping an eye on me. Daddy takes the first shift. Don't worry though, I don't think it is a major thing and perhaps is a trigger to a food allergy as I reacted to something today and my cheeks went all red and eyes were itchy. Tomorrow after a good sleep we will see though.

Now, I will go to bed and dream of cousin's squishy little face and what we are going to serve at our joint birthday party.
