Today Daddy took me to daycare for the first time alone and, I really didn't want to go inside. I started to cry at the gate. It isn't that I don't like it there because so far, it has been quite a lot of fun but, being left there by myself in the morning is a little bit stressful. People talk about the simplicity of childhood but, they forget that we live in a world of relative giants.
However, they do make some pretty cool things for people with short legs too, like this golf buggy of sandbox equipment my cousin/godmother got me for my birthday. It was the first gift I opened which was a bit of a problem because once I saw it, I wasn't so interested in the jumpers and pyjamas and just wanted to drag my new tools around. People should really think about the order of things, dinner before dessert, jumpers before toys.
I haven't had a chance to use my new toys in the sandbox yet but, I hope that on the weekend I will get to take them out for a swing and see if they perform well for my needs. It will depend a bit on the weather of course, as so many things do, as well as time.
It is a busy week with daycare and a visit with the allergy doctor on Friday to see if there is any new foods for me to try. I don't know what else that could be but today at daycare they gave me a lot of banana sauce. It was delicious but, I am not meant to eat anywhere near that amount at one time as it hasn't been tested enough yet. We may be in for a loooong night ahead but fingers crossed, it is okay.
It is a bit of a problem there still with the food as even though they try and do their best, it is a new for everyone and mistakes are going to happen. This wasn't the first and is unlikely to be the last however, it isn't the end of the world.
Now, I am going to go outside while there is still some sunshine and see what mischief I can get up to.
