These are hair ties. I call them Pompulas. I also have hairclips (not pictured) with unicorns or flowers on them. They are nearly all pink. Some people seem to think there is something wrong with girls wearing pink but my dinosaur jumpers are made for boys. What's with that? I looooove dinosaurs. But, I also love unicorns and flowers.
You know what would be awesome? A jumper with a pink dinosaur riding a unicorn on it. I'd wear that everyday.
Since my hair is now getting really long and luxurious (not but still gets in my eyes) I have to keep these hair thingies all over the house, just in case I have a hairmergency and need one fast. I mean, I keep them everywhere. Daddy tries to collect them into little piles but let's be honest, he is playing at a losing game here. So much so, he wears them from time to time himself. I like it, I think he looks dashing with a pineapple-y spiky thing on his head.
Since Daddy and I are home alone today, we have decided to go into the city and have a coffee with a friend instead of bumming around here. That means I get to eat in the city! I love all the different chairs I can choose from, even though the food is the same. Daddy promised macaroni and sausage for the afternoon.
I love sausage however, yesterday I tried ham for the first time too. Ham is delicious and if it all goes well on my food trial rotation, I might be able to have a corn bread sandwich-y thing one day. I am used to only eating one or two foods at a time so mixing them all together into a sandwich seems a bit weird.
Yep, today is a city exploration day and I will get to sit in an unfamiliar chair and eat familiar foods with my hair tied up. I am pretty sure Daddy will dress me in something pretty which I love also. At home it is nice to be all dinosaur rider but I enjoy being a bit different when we go out together.
I wonder if Daddy will wear his pink pompula? I am sure he will find one around somewhere :D
