This is me drinking my afternoon milk while sitting on Daddy's belly. It adds an element of danger to the meal as unlike the couch that is flat, there is a high risk of rolling off. It is kind of like balancing on a gym ball so it develops core strength whilst eating. Perhaps Daddy should do the same except I am not sure how much benefit here is in exercising while eating chocolate.
It was a Daddy / daughter day again so after my nap we went out shopping. Daddy tells me the things we need from the shop and then we cruise around and he asks me what was next. I am getting pretty good at it but I have to say, I mostly only remember the things that I need on the list. Soy milk and yogurt, corn snacks etc. Can't really blame me though as I don't know what half the other stuff is. Oh, I do always remind Daddy to buy milk for his coffee though as no one wants to ever have to talk to him if he hasn't had a coffee in the morning.
Before the supermarket though we went clothes shopping... for Mummy! We bought her a top and a jumper. The top (burgandy) was not necessary but was cute and cheap, the jumper (blue like her eyes) was needed because she is like a baby bird hatched in the winter most of the time; freezing.
This is the things wit parents, they are pretty fragile creatures so you have to make sure to keep them comfortable. Coffee for Daddy so he isn't grumpy and warmth for Mummy so she isn't whiny. Mummy is a bit more high maintenance because she is a fussy eater but like I mentioned, Daddy isn't.
I am still sick by the way with the flu so it is slowing me down and besides the shopping trip, we haven't done much else this weekend. Mummy and Daddy are ill too but they are taking their 'shift sleeps' because I have been getting up in the middle of the night. If they don't do this they seem to get too tired themselves and then no amount of coffee or warmth will stop the complaining from them. Fragile creatures....
