Here are a few road trip walks for this #wednesdaywalk by 
My wife wanted to see some painted frescos and an an art show in Toledo. Our first stop was in Toledo to see a huge cathedral with actual frescos in it.
Sadly it was closed for some reason and we couldn't go in. Instead we walked around the massive building looking at all the intricacies.
Now we had to drive a bit further and saw loads of these terrible looking windmills cluttering the farmland.
At least the clouds looked interesting. We had plans to go swimming in Lake Michigan and Erie but it was too cold.
Now we made it to the Toledo Art Museum to see a special exhibit. Along the way there were quite a few nice classical paintings in their general galleries.
Way in the back is the artist we wanted to see.
The whole exhibit at the back featured paintings by Rachel Ruysch. She basically did naturalistic paintings of mostly flowers but does a twist on them where she integrates birds, insects and reptiles into the paintings.
After my daughter was bored in the exhibit there was a little workshop where you could draw your naturalistic picture and post it on the wall. I wish I had known about this place because it would have been easier to just let her draw here instead of being bored in the museum lol.
Now its off to downtown Toledo... It was empty and only a few restaurants were open. Toledo definitely has lots of these large outdoor art sculptures.
Now its off to a botanical garden before hitting Delaware Ohio. It was small but was a good opportunity to stretch our legs after driving so long.
Now in Delaware we are hunting for a Native American mound. Everything was really green from all the rain in this park.
Well we found the mound... It wasn't quite as elaborate as the effigy mounds in Iowa or the Monk mound in Illinois. But it was a nice trail and there was a fun visitor center for my daughter to play in.
