Here is another evening stroll for this #wednesdaywalk by 
Towards the end of the walk there was a nice colorful sunset that was hidden behind the trees.
The beginning of the walk started out with a usual sighting of a red-winged blackbird.
He was shrieking and beeping at me defending his territory.
His girlfriend was probably looking down at their nest in the weeds. I didn't see any babies because the weeds were way to thick.
I did manage to see another pair of these bumble bee mimicking robber flies. Lets hope they catch all the biting horse flies.
Here is a random berry bush I noticed. I doubt these things are edible.
Above the berry bush I heard a loud knocking sound. Then way off in the distance I noticed a pileated woodpecker's head catch a glint of sun before flying off. I still have yet to get a good clear shot of one of these guys.
As the sun set the weeds started getting some nice backlighting.
This whole area is basically a giant field of sumac trees. You can actually harvest the spice later on when they develop their red seed pods. The sun really brought out a golden look to this whole field.
As the sun sets all the little rabbits, foxes, skunks and other animals come out. Mostly it is just these little cottontails.
These guys are very tiny, when they are babies first emerging from their dens you can easily grab them. Just be prepared to get a bunch of fleas jumping on you if you do though lol. They don't call them vermin for nothing.
