Here are a few trapped mushrooms for this #mushroommonday
The chain link fence could barely contain these polypores.
I'm not sure which polypore it is but it probably will turn black and crumbly.
Now for some kind of weeping polypore that always seems to have guttation.
But eventually it expels too much water and turns black like ash and crumbles into dust.
Now for something spicy.
These are peppery milkcaps aka Lactifluus piperatus.
I warned my daughter about how hot these things are if you nibble a bit. They are useable if you dehydrate them and turn them into powder for use as a spice. Tastes similar to black pepper with a tiny bit more of a zing.
Just a bit of bird's nest fungi. This variant is a bit more spiky than others I usually see.
Just a few twig mushrooms one of the smallest gilled mushrooms. There are quite a variety of twig mushrooms.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
