Here are some mushrooms growing in a suburbanite neighborhood for this #fungifriday by 
I had to walk through the neighborhood about a mile or so to get a haircut and noticed all sorts of mushrooms growing in people's yards.
These reddening lepiotas were growing in a huge mansion's yard on the edge of the sidewalk. I find that this landscaping mulch tends to bring out the reddening lepiotas in abundance.
Here is why they are called reddening leipotas. If you scratch the cap they kind of turn a brick red color almost immediately.
I picked a smaller one and just picking it caused the stem to bruise a little bit in the orange direction.
These are technically edible mushrooms if you can find them growing in a wild area. Unfortunately I only ever find them in highly treated landscaping mulch that are full of chemicals. So I never get to eat them.
I split the smaller one apart to see if the flesh would turn red but instead it just bruised a sort of orange color.
Another common sight around the suburbs are ink caps growing in everyone's yard. These are particularly good at absorbing toxic chemicals from lawn fertilizers so I would not recommend eating these either.
Another yard had an oak tree that dropped lots of acorns. These are probably another kind of ink cap, possibly mica caps that really liked infesting the acorn soil underneath the tree. There must have been thousands packed in under the tree.
I found these common puffballs growing in a street divider as I reached my haircutting place. They are already starting to spore out. I can find these easily out in the forest where there are no chemicals or car pollutants and the are a good edible if you can get to them before they spore out. In the meantime its fun giving these guys a squeeze to see the spore clouds come out.
