Hello Family!
Hope you all are Happy & Healthy, It is my first post in the "Foodies Bee Hive" community and my second post on Hive Platform. I am going to share the recipe for Chicken Biryani.

Ingredients:

Rice - 3 cups
Chicken - 500 grams
Cooking oil - 1 cup
Yogurt - 1 cup
Black Pepper - Half Tablespoon
Salt - 2 Tablespoon
Tomato - 2 medium-size (Tomato paste can also be used)
Onion - 1 medium-size chopped
Green Chilly - 3
Red chilly powder - Half Tablespoon
White Cumin - 1 Tablespoon
Cumin Powder - Half tablespoon
Dried Coriander - 1 Tablespoon
Tumeric Powder - Half Tablespoon
Cardamom - 3
Clove - 5 to 6
Dried Bay leaf - 3 to 4
Cinnamon - a little piece
Mint leaf - Fresh 10 to 12 leaves

Procedure:

Fry the chopped onions on low flame until it gets golden or brown in color.

Add chicken, 2 dried bay leaves, 2 Cardamoms, white cumin, and 2 cloves.

Cover it for 5 minutes and keep it on low flame, then add tomato paste or sliced tomatoes and 1 tablespoon salt.

Then add Chilly powder, Tumeric powder, dried coriander, cumin powder, yogurt, and some fresh leaves of mint and cook it for 15 minutes on low flame.

Boil rice in 1-liter water in another container and add 2 dried bay leaves, cardamom, cloves, and a piece of cinnamon until the rice is 90% cooked.

Remove the excess water from the rice.

Put 1 layer of boiled rice then put gravy then another layer of rice then again gravy and a last layer of rice and put it on low flame for 15 minutes.

Grind 2 tablespoon yogurt, fresh mint leaves, 1 green chilly, 1 tablespoon garlic paste and half tablespoon salt, and your yogurt-mint chutney (sauce) is ready.

Now after 15 minutes on low flame, the biryani is also ready for serving. Slice some green chilies and onion on it and serve it with yogurt mint chutney.
