Some of you may have saw my previous post. This is a special pan made from stainless steel. The difference is there are hexagonal engravings or etchings on the surface. The idea is that air cushion is created between the surface and the food creating a non-stick property.
However, as demonstration shows, the effect isnt as full-proof as Teflon.
Yesterday I went to a renovation sale of a local mall. And I noticed they are selling these kinds of pans already - (quite expensively I might add)
The salesgirl told me it is German technology (the etchings)... Anyways... at least consumers have more options with frying pans these days). You can choose Stainless steel pan, but this one is more non-stick but doesnt have the risks associated of Teflon coating coming off,
