Everyone in Toronto knew the owner, who past away in his 90s several years ago. He was a client of mine and I would meet him in the stairwells sometimes. The best joke I ever received after telling this story was from a fellow courier, who said, "Did he give you a 'direct'?" A 'direct' being a high price service for a quick delivery in my courier company.
