I've recently begun memorizing songs using the journey method. Above, you see my note book with all my journey points.
At each stop, I put a line of the song I am memorizing. The last song I memorized started with: " Dans les rues de Rio..." So, I use something that rhymes phonetically: Dollar Rio, and I put this money at my first stop. It's a very creative process which I keep doing until all the song has been processed. Then I listen to the song and try to see how much I remember along the way.
