This beautiful bottle of water is ill famed for its pricing, but the Finnish brand has its own reasons for the pricing. The source of the waters lies in the Eastern Himalayas in the Kingdom of Bhutan which they claim is one of the purest sources of water from the purest, remote, unpolluted and unpopulated parts of the world. It is also very rich in valuable minerals when compared with other mineral waters. Many of the famous fine dines and five star properties serve veen which has won many awards for its quality and the design of the bottle. Even the famous Harrods department store chose this as their house water. In cochin I have seen veen at the gourmet stores, Hyatt and the Punjab Grill.
PS - This is not a review, just consider this as a product information. And also I don’t drink this daily, got it for a tasting session. I am the sort of guy who hates paying Rs 300 for popcorn at movies but will happily pay Rs 3000 for a grilled fish or tiger prawns if its totally worth it. I always go for chilled normal water and not bottled ones at restaurants.
