So I have been wanting to get this post out now for the last few days but due to work giving me shifts all over the place and me trying to keep up with life's commitments it's been very difficult to actually post my little celebratory Steemit 3 year cake.
But while these things make it difficult to post on here it does mean I have been getting more hours at work which in turn make's it ideal with the Steem price being low plus with the sometimes drop value in Bitcoins here and there it put's many things all in order to get my hands on a little bit more Steem Power.
My initial Steem goal for this year was to reach dolphin which I was very happy to have reached earlier during the early first half of the year.
My goals are now to reach 7000 SP before the end of 2019 and hopefully even get the next dolphin badge at 7500 SP.
Beyond that my goal is to get to double dolphin at 10.000 SP hopefully sometime next year, but I wont lie that some Steem friends have suggested that I have a bigger vision, and that right off the bat I should of been aiming for orca level!
At first that sounded ridiculous to me but as the Steem price continues to stay lower and perhaps myself continuing to be needed at work for extra hours, the vision of orca seems to be getting ever so much more possible as remember the lower the price the more Steem we actually earn from our rewards.
I have made some calculation's and if Steem continues to stay this low in price for another (126) days maybe sightly more or less it would really help me out in making orca a reality.
So while most complain about the price I continue to drum this in not gloom it's a shiny opportunity.
And so for you buyers out there please stop buying so much darn Steem so I can have some, lol jokes.
But it's true! Contrary to what most believe, people have been continuing to buy all the cheap Steem at around the $0.16 mark which is great because the SP Power continues to spread to more users instead of only a very select few, and so with this spread happening in future it will be giving many more the power to reward others with a decent upvote.
Think of it this way as time passes the SP is going into the hands of those who are holders, there as never been a time with so many dolphins and that number keep growing, and so with less Steem available to sell this should eventually make it slowly go upwards, that is if nobody with big moola buys a sudden large chuck if that happens the price will go up very fast.
Anyway 3 years on Steemit and I still enjoy it very much and still see it's massive potential.
The Hardfork's actually remind me of old Steem when I first got here 3 years ago, it's not a perfect system and probably newbies suffer the most with the HF21-22 if they were to try improving their accounts alone but these changes also influence bigger accounts to vote more often, so I guess the real hard part is getting noticed.
As you can read from above my plan is to continue gathering Steem as I have no plans to power down, so your votes are safe with me if that is a concern of yours, infact I have never powered down once since I started here 3 years ago, so if you got a spare upvote help me lock-up a little more lol, it sure helps getting to my goal a little quicker.
