Have you organised what you are doing tonight yet? For me its normally a last minute pick I normally have a few options and have to pick which I find the most interesting to attend.
The last few years have brought sightly less options but its my fault due to focusing more on working then social circles.
Before leaving for work yesterday I asked what some of my colleagues were doing for new years?
One of the new younger girls said she was going to a house party so I jokingly told her not to drink too much at her invited party incase she had to be in the following day early for work.

But she informed me with the sad news that she had been fired because she was caught in the middle of being scammed by a customer and didn't recognise what was happening.
Yes its a poor reason for firing someone I wish I hadn't asked anything now regardless that night I had the task of getting in some beer for a hosting friend of mine.

In trying to make everybody happy ( which is mostly impossible) I will be first going to an invited house party but the plan at the moment is for me to round up a few people at the house party and then move on to somewhere else ( haha which that somewhere else is still being decided on)

Anyway in the end I didn't buy the cheap beer as a party gift for my friend (btw he pacifically asks for the cheap beer he prefers it) in the end I brought what I would be starting the night with.

From what I could see there was still plenty of drink available so I would be surprised that even if lots of people were to buy drinks that there would be nothing left by the morning for me to get my hosting friend.
With the tasked failed I will go again in the morning before the night comes round and the shops close.
I am expecting chaos but in hopes most people have already brought all they needed for their own parties.
