17277440405_e46f40229e_b.jpgThe most visited monument in the whole of Bombay is called the Gateway of India and it was built to showcase the might and the presence of the British Empire in the early 20th century. That might pomp and grandeur was to vanish in a few more decades.
Just a stone's throw away from the monument stands another institution now equally well known. !was built by the Tatas around the same time as the Gateway to India and it is an iconic hotel allegedly with the best service in the country.
