Hi guys, I believe I finally have decided on the tile for the entry, and this is it!
This is Spanish porcelain 13x13 inches and as close to a Saltillo tile as I can find. The better half gave the green light, so it is a go! Happy Wife happy life! LOL.......
This tile is from a company called Surface Art, and is the Venetian Way by Jalisco.
So now is when I get to be creative, between the 2x2 glass and slate mosaic and 4x4 hand painted Mexican tiles.
I have discovered a multitude of small inlays that I can use to make this a one of a kind floor.
I am going to take my time and dry lay this out on the floor before I begin to screw down the cement board. These small accent patterns inlayed are to give the floor a Southwest flavor. I will keep you posted as this begins!
