Unplugging!😇
With a very busy week in the books, Silvertop was sipping a steaming hot latte early this morning!😊
Everyone needs to “Unplug” now and then…………….
That’s when I got a call from my oldest son Mike……….
Mike is extremely busy working as management at one of our local oil refineries.
When he calls something is up!🤔
“Dad, the whole house just lost power!”
This isn’t the type of “Unplugging” Silvertop was talking about above!😮
“It looks like the main 200 Amp breaker outside on the electric meter broke!”
Silvertop was a residential electrician, but codes change, and now days repairing your main house electrical breaker for yourself is questionable at best!🙄
“ Son, call the electrical utility company, have them pull the meter, then we can see where it goes from there! “
One hour later, my son called to tell me the utility company worker pulled the meter, then pulled the breaker and smacked it several times against the pole!😳
The breaker reset itself!😇
“Dad, the worker said this happens all the time with older breakers! He said replace the breaker box as soon as possible, but for now we have power! “ 🤗
Ahhh!🤗
“ Liz, I was just talking about a nice hike in the forest to “Unplug”……..🙄
Life can be challenging, and stressful, make sure you give yourself time to “Unplug” and recharge!
After a nice long Mountain hike, not only will you emotionally feel better, it will give you time to think through and hopefully solve your problems!😇
