My neighbor at the top of my old logging road was finishing shutting down her garden for the winter as I hiked past.....
She came over and said " Heads up Mike"!!!!!😐
She was driving down her driveway when...
A large Cougar ran in front of her car at full speed!!😬😻
She said it was big and fast!!!!
Every year there comes a point when I get lulled into a false sense of security.
Then one day these big cats make a grand entrance, and they remind me that this is there home, and there hunting ground!!!
From now on when I hike by myself, it's only on open trails and in daylight for safety!
That's what Silvertop did today, a small hike by myself in the sun, and on the steep hills that have wide open trails!😻
Then the Mrs came home after dark, and we finished the evening with a country road hike with lanterns, and flashlights!!!😊
