Living close to the Canadian border I always cross check my local Weather with “Environmental Canada”!😅
“YELLOW RAIN WARNING” for Abbotsford, BC!😮
GROK…….. What is a Yellow Rain Warning?
“Silvertop……. What a yellow rain warning typically means
• Heavy or persistent rain that can cause localised flooding, spray and standing water on roads, longer journey times, or some roads becoming temporarily impassable.
• Possible minor impacts such as a small chance of flooding to a few homes or businesses, temporary power or service interruptions, and delays to buses or trains.
• Difficult or occasionally dangerous driving conditions in the heaviest rain!”
What this means in layman terms, is a nonstop cold rain for the next 24 hours!🙄🥶
Thankfully only parts of the Forest have begun to show their Fall Colors!😇
If a storm like this hits in mid October, most of the leaves will quickly be gone!……😮
A “Northwest” waterproof rain jacket is a must carry, in my backpack this time of year!😇
On days like this my raincoat never even makes it to my backpack Lol!😅
Everyone is crossing their fingers, with the “ Stony Ridge” Pumpkin Festival starting on Saturday morning!☺️
So far….. you can see from the “Extended” Forecast we are expecting Sunshine for the Weekend!😎
