Happy 4th of July!
Since I can remember, as a family, we have celebrated the 4th of July.
I have continued that tradition, although my entire family is in heaven!
I usually have lunch and dinner prepared for guests who are over for the Fourth, but this time I had friends over from out of town.
So, we prepared brunch!
The house was bustling so early in the morning. I gave them jobs to do: each had to cook something. I had one on the electric gridle, two cooking on the stovetop, one preparing shakes, one preparing the fruit tray... everyone was busy. Coordination was tough, and the house was noisy!
When the food was done, we all ate... until a few minutes ago! Just in time to post this!
What did we have for breakfast the previous day, you ask? Well, it is pretty much the same! They wanted the same!
We intend to go downtown and watch the parade, and then the fireworks tonight!
