Take the chair, a prompt that brings a childhood game back to mind, the musical chair, where X people moves in circle around (X-1) chair, the chair who have not taken a chair when the music stops is eliminated.
This game is so true in corporate world too as X number of employees work around (X-k) small amount of promotion vacancies. At any point in time when you are ready to take the chair when the fight is on, we are left out of the game.
