Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - Do me a Favour. Hope you enjoy the story.
What would be your first thought when a colleague or a friend comes up to you asking "Do me a favour"?
My reaction really depends on who's the one asking, in what capacity is the requestor asking in?
If it is a colleague, naturally I quickly presume it's work related and likely it's unpleasant, dropping "arrows" my way. If it is coming from a supervisor then it's worse, it must confirm be some ugly task.
If it's a close friend who I have known for years, it would likely be urgent and he must be at wits end to come up to seek help and support, times like this I think most of us would be more than happy to provide support within our means.
