I examined a torn missing poster for Tsujutani Mayumi before meeting Hinako's longtime friend, Iwai Shu. He gave her a small item and offered a solemn promise. Soon, Rinko and Sakuko joined them, but the reunion turned horrific when dark fog rolled in and Sakuko fell, calling Hinako a traitor.

I decided it was time to head out because something felt entirely wrong about that grandfather. Nearby, I found a notice board with a torn missing poster attached to it. The paper stated that a girl named Tsujutani Mayumi was missing.

As I moved forward, I spotted a human sitting on a bench ahead. I braced myself for something to go wrong, but Hinako quickly recognized him as Shu. His full name was Iwai Shu, and he had been Hinako's best friend and trusted partner for as long as she could remember.

I walked toward him and noticed he looked remarkably pale and sad while staring down at something in his hands. Although I had initially suspected he might be a ghost, Shu appeared to be an ordinary person.

The interaction felt strange and awkward because neither of them said much, which seemed unusual for two people who were supposed to be so close.

Breaking the quiet moment, Shu handed Hinako the object he was holding and promised that he would always be there for her, no matter what happened.

Right after he spoke, another girl named Rinko arrived and thanked Shu for waiting for her. She added to the awkward tension by asking what the two of them were discussing.

Moments later, another companion arrived, and the new girls seemed genuinely happy to see everyone as they laughed together during the conversation.

While they talked about various things, Hinako suddenly noticed the entire area turning dark around them. A thick fog began rolling toward the group, creating a terrifying scene that only Hinako appeared to witness.
