I successfully navigated the challenging Spider Trail after remembering how to use the mouse button to swing. After pushing forward, I arrived at the Trial of the Eagle, discovered a massive mechanical bird, and saved my progress at a campfire before facing the trial.
I decided to attempt the Spider Trail once again, hoping that I would be able to successfully complete it this time around.
As I made my way up, Lara spoke to me through the radio, urging me to hurry if I could hear her because she believed the Trinity forces were already at the top of the trail.
This area was exactly where I had completely messed up during my last attempt. I wanted to make absolutely sure that I did not repeat the same mistakes this time.
Fortunately, I finally remembered how to swing and how to properly build up momentum using the rope. I realized that all I needed to do was hold down the right mouse button, and it felt a bit shameful that I had forgotten such a basic control before.
With the proper technique in mind, I leaped across the gap and successfully made the jump. I moved to the other side and kept pressing forward until I finally saw daylight ahead of me.
As I stepped outside, I discovered that I had reached the Trial of the Eagle. I looked around to see what it was all about and noticed a massive, mechanical eagle structure. Lara mentioned that the giant contraption had something to do with the wind, and Jonah briefly replied to her over the radio as well.
I prepared myself to complete the trial, but while Lara was thinking about what could possibly be waiting at the very end of the challenge, I spotted a nearby campfire. I used it immediately to save my progress.
The trial itself was an incredible sight, remaining completely stunning even after enduring centuries of intense earthquakes and powerful storms.
I looked around to see what actions I needed to take next, keeping a close eye on my footing to ensure I did not fall down into the deep pit, as it was a very long drop to the bottom.
I searched for a way forward and noticed a ladder that could be used to get up to a higher platform, just as Lara had suggested.
There were intricate puzzles scattered all around the environment. I moved closer to inspect them and try to figure out the solution, but unfortunately, I lost my footing and fell.
Right after the fall, something strange happened, and it felt like I was suddenly flying through the air due to an unexpected game glitch. Despite the brief disruption, I managed to recover, figured out the next path, and climbed higher.
I carefully rappelled down a wall using my rope, and it looked like I was finally getting much closer to completing the trial.
However, just as I neared the end, I made a misstep and fell once again. With all these falling, the game is becoming a bit challenging for me, but I know I can see to its end.
