•• Go take a boat ride & watch the sunset at Princep Ghat - Make sure you pack some snacks along with a bluetooth speakers to enjoy your boat ride with friends and family.
••• Eat the best version of biriyani in the whole wide world - Have it and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about! Some popular biriyani places : Arsalan Restaurant, Aminia Restaurants, Royal Indian Restaurant.
•••• Take a morning walk at Victoria Memorial - There's nothing more surreal than walking around the beautiful marbel building dedicated to the memory of Queen Victoria which is now a museum. Snack some kachori sabji at Sharmas or Balwant Singh Dhaba along with dudhkola (milk + cola) or a cup of chai ( tea) afterwards.
••••• Gorge on some Bengal Sweets - We kolkata people love our Mishti Doi, Sandesh, Pitha, patisapta, chom chom, etc. Eat it & you'll know why!
•••••• Visit Kolkata's very own China town in Tangra - This area is filled with restaurants & have their own Indian twist on Chinese Cuisine. The ambience of all these restaurants are quite shady but the lip smacking food just makes up for it. Some of my favourite : Kim Ling, Big Boss & Golden Joy.
••••••• Park Street - Get down outside Park hotel and start walking around. Have a quick kathi roll from kusum rolls and walk towards Flurys ( a legendary bakery from the english times) pack some mishti doi , cheesecake and chocolate rum balls. Further walk towards Vardaan Market and explore a wide range of kolkata street food like - jhaalmuri , victoria vada, etc.
