Wednesday Walk: Ground Level Photos Offers A Different View

I've been experimenting with some of my outdoor photography. On this particular day I put my phone upside down so that the camera lens was closest to the ground. I took a few photos in portrait mode and here are the results:

I like how even though the blades of grass are small, they have an impressive look to them because of the angle of the shot. Or how the cement saint statues are blurred in the background, but still visible enough to make out.

This new ground level style of photography is something I definitely want to spend more time exploring to develop my own style. Looking at these now gives me a new appreciation for all of the photogenic places that I may have missed before because I wasn't seeing those spaces from the right angle.

I'm again going to say big thanks to tattoodjay@tattoodjay for creating #WednesdayWalk. It has been a real pleasure to see the world around me with new eyes.
