We love Italian food and loved our trip in Tuscany. We'd like to share with you what we have eaten and our thoughts about it :)

Starters

We usually got Tuscan meat and cheese platter to savour the local tastes. Also the Mozzarella and Tomato salad (Caprese) was a usual choice. The thing we noticed is that in Tuscany they don't use Basil but just Rocket salad. For me, the Basil should be part of the Caprese. What do you think?

2 new starters were the dried meat with Parmesan cheese and Rocket salad, and the fried Pecorino cheese with Pear and Honey. The latter was a total new taste for us and very lovely.

Mains

How can you not go to Italy and try to find THE best pizza and THE best pasta? We've tried to find it, were we successful? Let's say, we are still on the search 馃槆

Fish

Other than Pizza and Pasta, we tried also some fish since we were on he seaside of Tuscany. Whole grilled fish and mixed fried fish were always on a restaurants menu.

Gelato

Italy is not only famous for Pizza and Pasta, but also for their Gelato! While we are still on the search for the best Pizza and Pasta, we think we have no doubt found the best ice cream!
