¡Hola, familia Hive!

ENGLISH VERSION

Hello, Hive family! This is your friend shell975@shell975, full of energy to bring you a story from my treasure chest of memories and my phone's gallery, because it's Thursday, and the beautiful Top Family Community opens its doors to a new TBT. My gratitude, as every week, to Professor lanzjoseg@lanzjoseg and all the sponsors who make these spaces possible.

This photo especially brings back incredible memories, because as I have told you in other posts, my family in Guantánamo always gets together for every celebration, from birthdays to holidays, and we become a very large family hahaha because grandparents, uncles, parents, siblings, and grandchildren all come.

On that occasion, we were celebrating a December 31st. Specifically, in those days, I loved being there with them because we would all gather until midnight to wait for the New Year, and then we would go out into the streets calmly, because the streets were always full at that hour since many other homes also gathered like this to celebrate and wait for the new year with family and friends.

The headquarters for our end-of-year gatherings is my aunt Martha's house, because her birthday is also celebrated that day, so we celebrate double hahaha.

That day we sang together, we connected to congratulate those who live farther away, like me now, we prepared a video as we sometimes do with family photos from years ago up to the present, and we watch it together. I love when we can do that; it's beautiful to remember all the beautiful moments we have shared together ❤️.

And by the way, it's not like we just meet at night; we go early and spend the whole day or from the afternoon to help with everything that needs to be done, so the tasks of cooking, preparing things, or waiting for what has been ordered for delivery are shared, and everyone contributes their grain of sand.

That's why I chose this photo for today. I can't stop thanking God for my family, because they are a blessing and an incredible treasure.

And how do you welcome the New Year? What memories do these beautiful holidays bring back to you?
