And after a long time of thinking and discussing whether we should adopt another kitten or not, we finally decided to give him a home and see how things go.
A lot of people told us that he probably wouldn’t get along with our adult cat, Loky, especially since they are different breeds, but I really hope they will eventually get along.
For now, during these first few days, the little kitten just wants to play and keeps jumping on Loky’s tail, especially when Loky is eating or going to sleep. Because of that, Loky has been avoiding the apartment and has started sleeping more often on the balcony, where he has some peace and quiet — usually on his favorite table.
We named the little kitten Gizmo. He is very affectionate and plays with anything he finds on the floor, but his absolute favorite toy is a little fluffy character — or rather, his tail — from the movie Madagascar.
I really hope they will soon become friends and eventually start playing together.
